Timeline Activity Object Field Names

I would like to edit the field names in the Timeline Activities Object. The duplicate naming conventions lead to confusion when trying to build reports. (Example, the word name is repeated at least 10 times) What is the best way to do this?

Generally you can manage objects and fields in Admin > Data Management; however, the Timeline fields, including the labels, do not appear to be editable.
