I work a lot with bookmarks. If I access a page and it shows like this, with no navbar available, how can I return to the classic view?

That looks like a bug. There should be a carrot button next to your profile to show the SFDC navbar.

@johnny sorry for the inconvenience. This is absolutely a bug. I am unable to replicate this, are you able to replicate this issue? If so please let us know.

Yeah, it can be replicated without exception.

It behaves like this for any page I bookmark that belongs to Gainsight

https://uipath--jbcxm.na159.visual.force.com/apex/JBCXM__RulesManager#/rules/list

https://uipath--jbcxm.na159.visual.force.com/apex/JBCXM__ReportBuilder

https://uipath--jbcxm.na159.visual.force.com/apex/JBCXM__DataDesigner#/list

https://uipath--jbcxm.na159.visual.force.com/apex/ReportBuilder#newreport

https://uipath--jbcxm.na159.visual.force.com/apex/Administration?sfdc.tabName=01r36000001Hn77

https://uipath--jbcxm.na159.visual.force.com/apex/JBCXM__userManagement#/users

(The carrot showed up on the right, but it doesn’t do anything when I press it; just switches direction up/down)

Looks like your default experience is set to lightning in salesforce and you are trying to access the classic URLs(URLs pointing to classic experience, probably bookmarked when you were on classic experience).
All the URLs pointing to classic experience(URLs with `/apex/` in them) open this way if your default experience is lightning.

We suggest you to update your bookmarked urls to point to lightning URLs to solve this @johnny

So, it still has “apex” in the title and shows like this ^

How I fixed it: I pressed on Gainsight Home from the Sidebar, then from the user menu, switch to “classic experience”

Somehow, it always switched to lightning whenever I accessed the Data Management or some other GS functionality and the page would show without the uptop ribbon as posted in the beginning of this post.

The platform has some obvious UI bugs as I noticed regarding how the navbar can be displayed (different tabs appear in Classic and Lightning, in the Gainsight app)

Here ^ I posted 3 scenarios on how the navbar can show up, with different tabs in each case.

So, not sure what to do to the URL since it’s an API thing , I presume and it depends on what the server remembers about what I set the view to be.

(removing or adding the “apex” string doesn’t solve anything)
