I'm wondering if anyone sends out a unique email template for each reminder distributed for survey completion and if so, what your work around was to configure this. Is the best practice just to send the same template for every reminder? Our team would like to send out four different templates with very minor differences between the four surveys but it doesn't appear that this functionality is possible using the generic survey model.
Any suggestions/ideas would be much appreciated!

Have you tried building out what you need using the Email Chain model? That may be the best option to have different variances. Or can you use email template variances and trigger each reminder variance using a specific filter?
Hi Faust! Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm not seeing that capability exists to use a survey with the Email Chain model? Have you successfully done this?
The Email Chain model does not support including surveys.
Thanks, Lila for confirming!
Hi Jill
Although it might be a bit of work, you can support your survey program with a mail chain to do what you are after... might be worth the effort if you want to reuse this approach.
For example:
- the survey program includes the first reminder.
- using Query Builder, the mail chain will get kicked off when it finds a contact who received the first reminder x days ago and it was not read. The chain of reminders will take place, checking between each mailing if the previous emails were read to exit timely.
