I thought I'd put this out there. Some of our users have older SFDC accounts from prior to being acquired by our company. Therefore they might have their email listed as a different than what they use for day-to-day business and the old forwards there.





The problem is that we also had GS Connect sync the User Objects. When using Email2Timeline, that email address needs to be the one obviously they use which in our case isn't always the same as in their profiles. So we had to turn off the User object sync and manually correct and users in User data management in order to match email addresses. This isn't mentioned in the doucmentation yet and it probablly isn't something we think about in this type of feature/setup. I hope this helps someone else out.
