Validation Rules for Custom CTA Fields

Hello,

I created a customer field on the Call to Action object. I have exposed it on the CTA layout. I would like to require it on a certain CTA Type. Is that possible?

I tried creating the validation rule in Salesforce on the Call to Action object, but it doesn't seem to work in Gainsight.

what is the status on this one? i believe Adobe will be happy that they can validate the field.

Hi,

This enhancement will be available in Fall release. Admin will be able to mark fields as mandatory while configuring CTA layout and a validation will be done before closing the CTA. The CTA will not be allowed to close unless all mandatory fields are filled.

@Nitisha, will the changes be relevant also for Tasks? We want to make custom Tasks fields mandatory as well.
