I am working with a customer in which he asked if it is possible to search a user/contact from Gainsight top search bar.

Can someone please confirm if this will be possible in near future?

+1 - Just thought about this today and how it would be nice.  Currently, in our instance to look for a contact, I have to go search for them in Salesforce, click on the account, and then, click to go to Gainsight.

Out of curiosity - if you searched for a contact - where would you want the page to take you if you selected that contact? Salesforce has a dedicated page for contact or user, but in Gainsight the context is around Company or Relationship.

@dan_ahrens usually I’m searching the contact to find the account anyway, so I would say to show the person’s name, email, and then, maybe the account that they are tied to.  The name or email wouldn’t be clickable, but the account name would take you to the C360.
