Hi we are really interested to get Customer (based on user type) or User Search Keywords or Searches and count of searches that resulted in ZERO Knowledge Base Articles (hits) or any type of similar knowledge content matching for keywords used by user.

We basically need to know what users are looking for (searches) in our Community as of knowledge which we haven’t included in our site so they get 0 hits or results. By identifying that we could improve and create the relevant knowledge which most users look for (that doesn’t exist already).

I have already tried GOOGLE ANALYTICS and it is not helpful to identify by user groups and what we exactly need to get based on configurations we have already done in our Community. Also using 2 platforms and 2 databases (GA export and Insided csv export) and combining them together is also not straightforward and practical. So what we need is Insided csv export to include a criteria that provides us with search results (including keywords and number of times and user group) that resulted with zero hits (if possible further division into conversation/question/article - content type missing). This is kind of getting queries that results in 0 results to see what type of Knowledge content is required and what is missing and what audience seek. This is heavily useful feature for organizations to check their KCS and KBA strategies.

Really appreciate your implementations with this and hoping to see this functionality via InSided :)

@Yasas_AK
Thank you for creating a new idea.
I understand your requirement and would like to probe a little deeper.
How would you see consuming this data? A dashboard? A weekly report? API?

Hi @Alex Campos,
As mentioned what we would need from Insided is to provide this data in the csv export (maybe a new category). We already have Power BI dashboards created internally using Insided csv files that are fed weekly, so we just need Insided to have these data produced via csv for exports :)
Thanks & Best Regards,
Yasas

Hello,

I think this development would be very useful for the entire insided community.
My need would be literally everything that is searched for a user/costumer in our community, or if possible to improve, a column should be placed in the export that indicates that the search didn’t give results (in order to conjugate the previous idea request).
I created the following idea with our (more general) need and similar to this one.

Thank you

Miguel
