And these are visible on the front end in reports when you hover over a column heading...
And we can specify a custom description when configuring C360 sections...
But these have to be manually maintained across different areas of Gainsight and multiple C360 views, so it would be nice if there was an option to “show MDA description” in the C360 config
+5I thought this was strange too, especially if you managing multiple c360 layout configurations.
With this additional ‘description’ field you are referring to, you must copy and paste the same exact description to each field/attribute/widget For Each layout configuration. And later, if you want to change the description, you have to go back and find it on all the layout configurations and update it, once again.
The ability to manage this field description field from one place would be great.

+3+100! This helper text would be extremely useful for global C360 sections like People, which currently lack the ability to edit or establish a description, improving both user experience and data integrity.
There are multiple ideas related to helper text needs across various elements of Gainsight (Make use of Field Description (Data Management, Success Plan layout, Include a way to include field description or tooltip’s on success plan fields.., Enhancement Request form fields, etc.). Ultimately, it would be great if we could have universal helper text capabilities across Gainsight. With as many community ideas related to this need, it would be tremendous to see this prioritized for implementation.
