Provide a way to toggle between read and unread private messages on the front-end. Many community members rely heavily on private messages and there’s no easy way to identify the unread messages when there are lots of messages in their history in /inbox/overview

Indeed, it makes sense to have an unread filter when you have a busy inbox.
I will move the idea to ‘Open’ and you can collect more votes :)

We have configured all automated messages to go from my own account. I’d like to be able to distinguish between these outbound messages and inbound messages from my members please.
I currently have 2 unread private messages and I can’t find them in the long chain of messages!
