It seems that we’re not able to re-order cases in case statement fields in Data Designer, Query Builder (JO) and Rules Engine.
Use case for reordering:
- Move from 1 to several cases, which calls for changing case order
- Mistake in the build (not realizing that a case is cancelling the first one when you build)
How should it work:
Ideally, we should be able to reorder the case statements exactly in the same way we’re able to re-order actions in Rules Engine: drag and drop the cases up and down.
We should also - like we can in filters - be able to create the case “in the middle” of two cases to avoid these issues (in the above screenshot example, it wouldn’t change anything but it would when there are three or more cases) with a plus sign after each case, to add the next case where we want in the sequence.
