We have Global Timeline disabled in our instance as we have a certain group of our account hierarchy that we do not want Timeline activities created at. We’re okay with that sacrifice but due to having Global Timeline disabled, we get a Timeline access is restricted error when attempting to open a direct timeline link. The link is still shown when viewing timeline entries from the C360 as well as in email notification if a user is following a Company.
Why would the permission for directly linking to a Timeline activity need to be directly associated to having Global Timeline enabled?
