We would like to include some extra information in our Google Analytics information that’s being sent from our Community site so allow us to better map users back to Person objects in Gainsight. Currently there is only the user id that makes the user identifiable but that won’t be useful unless use custom GS objects and our own scripts to pull in data from Google Analytics. Ideally, we want to use the built-in connector in CS to pull Google Analytics data. In this scenario, we’d like to be able to push the Company ID and Person ID to user custom fields. If we could then customize the InsidedData object to include those custom fields, they could then be included in the Google Analytics event metadata and be accessible to use with the connector in CS.
That is only our current use case. However, there could be more in the future. So making the InsidedData object customizable would allow for possible expansion later on as well without having to submit individual requests to have it modified.
