It feels this should already exist but I couldn’t find anything via search…

I would love the ability to limit the CTA Types which can be created by users (ie not Rules/API).

We have different CTA types due to needing different layouts/data collection requirements, but many of these are things that we create via Rules on behalf of the end user. We don’t want the end users creating them themselves via C360 or cockpit, especially true where our desired flow is that the initial entry point (from end user) is another item (such as a low volume object record).

It also means the options are long for CSM’s when actually they only need to create from a couple different options.

I’d include “Activity” type in one I’d like to hide too, this should only be from Timeline tasks.

This would be very helpful in our org as well. We have a variety of CTA types that nobody should create manually. For example, our churn process is automated, and it is always horribly confusing when folks try to create their own churn ctas.

A permission group perhaps? Give the ability to create certain types of CTAs depending on your permission levels?

@jason_metzler do you have GS set up to send Slack messages? You can use a RT rule to slack the user when they manually create a Churn CTA telling them they aren’t allowed to do that and then delete the CTA.  Not a solution, but may help with any headaches.
