Allow automatic milestone based on multi picklist change

Could we please allow automatic milestones to pick up on field updates (the update event) so we can use them to create automatic milestones? We can’t today (amongst all the other things we cannot do with multi picklists).

Yet, real time rules can pick up on field update events for multi select picklists. 

One of our use cases:

We are on prem, and it’s important for us to know when customers upgrade and build up some trends around upgrades.

Realistically, what we collect is the version customers are on (they can be on several versions if several platforms, hence the multi picklist), from which we could deduce how frequently customers tend to upgrade their platform.

Sure, we could figure this out from snapshot data by means of a sick data design or a real time rule with a dedicated MDA object, and another rule creating milestones from that. We shouldn’t have to, however. An upgrade is a milestone type of event, and allowing auto milestone to pick up on changes to log an upgrade milestone automatically (or any other change) would be helpful.
