Hey all
Today, we can’t access lookup fields in the People section of R/C360. We can access the GSID value but nothing sitting in the object we lookup to.
It’d be beneficial if we could access lookups and display fields from those lookups. In the below screenshot, I can’t. I can just see the lookup value, none of the other fields in the lookup object.
Example use case:
We sync Community (not Gainsight CC) user data to Gainsight, via Salesforce. This data sits in a specific Community User object to not clutter up my Person related standard objects, mostly because Community users are a subset of Company Persons, and we need to maintain that data “independently”. However, I want to be able to show some data from that Community user object in the People section of R/C360 to know if the user is part of a specific elite group of users.
With the inability to lookup that value, I’d have to store it in one of my Person Objects, which is a lot of extra effort for something that shouldn’t require that extra effort.
