Hello Team,

This is regarding logging of emails to timeline in Gainsight. At the moment when we login a past email to the timeline GS picks up the logged in date as the activity date but we would like GS to reflect the actual activity date as the logged in date. This will be applicable when we have to add old emails to the timeline.

Current Process - Email sent on June18, 2024 logged in the timeline on Feb 19,2025 - Shows activity date as Feb 19,2025
Change Requested - Email sent on June18, 2024 logged in the timeline on Feb 19,2025 - But activity date should show as June 18,2024

Requesting you to look into this and consider the same as an enhancement

Hi @mouli.vijay

There are already posts on this topic that I’d recommend upvoting to concentrate votes on one idea instead of spreading them so it gets considered by product management more quickly (and btw @revathimenon we might want to merge all these ideas into one):

BTW, don’t hesitate to state what your enhancement request is directly into the idea title so community members want to click and upvote your idea. “Enhancement Request” might not yield too many clicks and upvotes!

Hopes this helps!
