The addition of sections in the community content hierarchy is a big improvement. It has made it much easier to organize categories and guide users to the right content. Thank you.
I would like section pages to support curated content like the category pages.
A couple reasons for this:
- With the addition of sections, we move previously top-level categories under a section. Users accustomed to the curated content resources at the top of the category page are confused when the section containing the category lacks the curated content.
- Sections and categories should have the same capabilities to create a consistent experience for users and administrators. For example, every section and the categories within it may feature the same or similar curated content. I’m not looking for the curated content settings to be inherited by sub-categories. I’ll manage each section and category’s curated content independently.
