We've recently removed licenses from several users, and they had open CTAs and customized notification settings when we removed them.  They continued to receive email notifications since they still had open CTAs.  I was able to use Mass Edit to remove the CTAs to stop the emails, but had a few suggestions for notifications:

1.  Once a user no longer has a license, they can no longer adjust their notification settings.  So, yes, in theory, they wouldn't be receiving any additional notifications, but it would be nice if the notification settings were removed once their license was removed.

OR

2. It would be nice for the Admin to be able to view the notification settings per user and adjust as needed.

Agree! I ran into this in the past. We also had an account which had CTAs assigned to our CTO. It took some effort to get things turned off.

I would also think as an admin it would be great to be able to turn on settings for new users or have a default that you could set which the end user could update if they felt they were receiving too many notifications.

Great suggestions. We have plans for improving notifications and we will consider these points in it.

Thanks,

Bumping this up! We recently implemented Gainsight NXT and will be having our Sales team work mostly out of the widget in Salesforce, so being able to edit notification and other user settings on their behalf to make sure they get separate emails for notifications would be really great.
