allow bulk updates to Gainsight timeline

Hi Team!

I’m adding a use case on behalf of our customer here. Can we please prioritize this request and let us know the ETA on it? 

Use case:
- Allow activities to be created from the dash view (not account)
- Users would then be able to create and fill out multiple activities (calls,meetings,etc) with customer name, date, etc
- The user would then submit and the activities would then be populated to the account level

Business impact:
- Time is money. The ability to log calls in bulk would simplify the new user onboarding process and increase adoption overall.

 Thanks for sharing this feedback. We will look into the possibilities of adding this feature but, we don’t have an immediate plan to support this as the team is occupied with other High-Priority items.

We’d use this functionality to backfill customer email communication for a one-time load.

I’d love to have this feature as some of our CSM’s track their notes outside of Timeline but they need to be imported into C360 eventually. Doing this on an individual basis is extremely time consuming and inefficient.

We are currently doing group Term Reviews for schools part of the same Multi Academy trust and it would be super useful to update all schools timeline with a Term Review Activity in mass, rather than going into each individual school.

This is one of a feature we are looking forward. This would help us in a greater way.

We’ve found a work around this by using Associated Records facility, which allow us to update the timeline of several accounts HOWEVER it would still be great if we could upload directly to the Timeline to accommodate other scenarios mentioned above.

We have been using “Duration Hours” a custom field to track time utilization on timeline entries.

Recently we noticed Duration in Minutes being updated by Gong-recordings. Now we have bunch of entries with Hours and a bunch in minutes.

1. We could have set a formula field to calculate hours from the minutes - but cant do that
2. We could have run a rule to update hours from the minutes - cant do that

Hence, Admins should be able to update timeline entries
