As a CSM, I want to help my customer’s have the data they care about at their finger tips to monitor adoption and track the value metrics they care about.
There are 2 upcoming GS roadmap items, 1) DH Spaces and 2) Reports tab added to Success Plans, that will make the sharing of reports and dashboards with customers a lot easier. The problem is, there is no “one size fits all” approach to what a customer cares about tracking and understanding. An admin built dashboard will be a great starting point, but as a CSM I want to customize the Dashboard and Reporting views to meet my customers exact needs. I want the reports I share with them to be viewed as so useful to them that they want to check them regularly.
I imagine something similar to customizing GS Home, a canvas with widgets that can be added, deleted and rearranged by the CSM for/with the customer. This is a big added benefit of having a “named CSM” on an account, the ability to better customize your spaces, and it will also help scale the CSM by making sure the customer’s Space has the information they would usually ping a CSM to get manually.
IMO this would help drive engagement into Shared Success Plans and DH Spaces more than any other potential feature. Having customers actually get into those two areas more regularly has a ton of potential benefits to any other information and tools that are housed in SP and Spaces.
