We - as a software development company ourselfs - struggle with ideation. We don't have the ideation module turned on because of various reasons. The main reason is what I also see happening in the ideation forum of Insided: customers assume that more votes means the idea will be implemented sooner. But that is not how it works. As any company, you have different goals, and the most important ones are the that match your vision or company strategy. This is no different for a software development company as for any other type of company.

However: our customers find the way we work now not satisfying. They don't have an overview, and don't know where their idea stands in relation to the 'to-develop' backlog. As said in the first paragraph in this topic: where their idea stands, that is a question that is impossible to answer.

But the overview: man, that could be a thing. I'm aware that there is some kind of overview in the community, called 'Activity' in your profile. But that provides you only with an overview with your latest activity in the whole community.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could somehow see a list of all topics you've created, with number of replies, and (if ideation is enabled) number of votes?

This is not only a question for Insided, but also for the Insided community users. Do you think this would be usefull for your community, and for this community?
