As an example, we have this article that was originally published a year ago, used across various comms, but was updated in the last couple of weeks with new information. Could a ‘Last Updated’ field be added to this top section?

Thanks.

The Create Date is not helpful, at all and it negatively affects our Google ranking. The date should show “Last Updated” (driven by the “Last Edited” date in Control. This should be considered a high priority request because of its effect on SEO.

@Julian -

Hi! Is this something that can be looked into, as @danielwal_coco has pointed out it could have an impact on SEO?

Thanks for bumping this. I know this is something that more customers would like to see implemented. I wonder if there is another idea here that this could / should be merged with @Kenneth R?

I see that this is not just relevant for SEO, but also for end users to have trust that the information is up-to date.

I noticed that lately, we have been working on adding a column in the Moderation overview to indicate the last edit date. Which means we store this information in a way that we could probably leverage it in the frontend as well.

I have not seen this as a dedicated item on the roadmap so far, but I hope that we can take this with once we are updating several things in the frontend. This will not be a simple change, as this field is currently tied to many other parts of the platform, but I am certain that we should improve it.

I will share this feedback with our Product Leadership team so that they are aware of this when planning the roadmap - hopefully they can squeeze it in together with other (already planned) improvements. I will let you know if I hear more in this direction.

Hey @Julian and @Matthew Thompson - yes indeed, it’s definitely a topic that has come up before.  We could likely merge this idea into this one:

I also agree that a ‘last updated’ timestamp would be useful.  We use workarounds ourselves in this community.  Let’s circle back to our friends in Product and reiterate this request and feedback.  :)
