Admin defined views for Timeline

Hey everyone, I would like to share that we have been able to put this request in motion and to gather more insights on our solution , I am hosting a VCAM - please sign up here on one of the dates that work for you. 

I don’t understand how this has had over 100 +1 votes over the span of 4 years and a discovery session was still needed. Admin defined views is great for Cockpit and it is strange that the admin defined views was only implemented in one area of the product. This is something that would be helpful across other areas of the product and would be nice to have simply from a consistency standpoint so that different areas of Gainsight don’t feel like they operate with different rules.

#productparity on this one would be huge.

If we were able to have admin-defined views on the People list in C360, it’d be much, much more useful (and might actually be maintained).

Our CSM team would also benefit from admin defined views for Timeline. When the org (rightfully) abides by “if it’s not in timeline it didn’t happen” things can get very busy, very quickly. This would be a nice QoL improvement. 

It’s a must with the new “Email Auto Capture” feature release especially, as it floods the Timeline like crazy. At the very least it threads emails into conversations, but we would like to provide some filtered views that they can use to cut through the noise.

Fully agree, ​@Tomas Trijonis . With auto-capturing of meetings and especially emails, this becomes even more important for people to get a good few on key Timeline updates.
