Think this ought to allow us to log FROM email into a FROM field. TO in TO field, and CC in CC fields so we can tell what’s inbound and what’s outbound:

I hope this will be admin controlled - as I know the places I have been - we would not want to clutter the timeline with all emails - unless they can be grouped by subject and logged as a thread

@victoria_peeker_barry Yes the enablement of this feature and set of user mailboxes to sync will be governed by Admin. This will be done in phases and in first phase of enablement we will not have Grouping of the Threads , which will follow in the next phase.

@ChiragJ by grouping of threads, if enabled, the emails would hit the timeline with x1 email per individual recipient?  So if there are 4 people CC’d there would be 4 Timeline entries?  Also, what is the roadmap timeline for this feature?

@DCourtot while we sync from different inboxes, we do not log email per user. We will be logging a single activity based on the email metadata and have all participants - internal and external listed on the same activity. Emails in response will be continued to be grouped.

This enhancement would make a significant impact for our team. As a former Planhat customer, we were surprised and honestly a bit disappointed that this functionality wasn’t available after making the switch. We’re very glad to see it on the roadmap!

Are you able to share an estimated timeline for when this might be rolled out to CS customers?

I’m also looking for an ETA to share. My strategic CSM team lead asks about this at least once a week. I’d love a reason to re-instill confidence to the team post “connector gate”. Thanks!

The feature will be available with a phased rollout starting for our Q1 '27 release, starting in April 2026.

To get access during the first phase (or possibly sooner, with certain limitations)—please inform your Customer Success Manager (CSM) of your interest. We will make every effort to accommodate your enablement request.
