Hey All,

Just wanted to share something that my team and I uncovered today. There is a known limitation today that does not allow you to use the “Edit In-App” feature while in Draft Mode.

Additionally, there is a limitation that you can not edit the live side of the engagement if a draft exists (even if the engagement is paused). As it will direct you to use the draft mode. 

This means that if you have a draft (there will be a date stamp under the draft mode toggle) and would like to get back into the in-app editor you MUST:

  • pause the engagement 
  • go to draft edit mode
  • delete the draft (warning, anything you have done in this mode will be lost)
  • then you may use the primary editor and access the edit in-app feature

This was just a few extra steps that we were not expecting and took some time to figure out how to get edit in-app back after testing an engagement in an environment. Hope this helps someone else.

It is frustrating that you can’t edit-in-app while in draft mode.

Hi @Ashton and @JayS , support for “Edit In-App” for Draft mode will soon be available. This is currently under development. Tentative ETA for the support is around end of July.
