I agree. I recently started working with Email Templates and immediately felt the need of custom Headers/Footers. Any improvement over existing Image editing/sizing will be great.
Hello All,
We are revamping our template building experience which will address this requirement as well. Please allow us to come back to you on update on this.
Any update on this
Hi
A note from my experience with Emails … Gainsight PX automatically adds a footer with an unsubscribe link, and I think a link to view the email in a browser. As a Gainsight user, we do not have access to view or edit that footer.
My understanding is that the unsubscribe just creates a flag on the Gainsight user record so that user doesn’t receive future emails from Gainsight. It doesn’t communicate with any other opt-out lists your company may have.
Could we get an update on this? I would like to know where this idea might fall on the roadmap before we start converting all of our emails that were built in the old email editor to the new email builder.
Generally, I think it would be awesome if this repository could also include a way to have one template but just change out blocks in the template or versioning the blocks, so that we wouldn’t have to maintain 20 full versions of certain emails and just be able to change some bits in the middle.
Hi Team,
Is there a way to add button to the footer in email templates, we have an option to edit the footer but it would be good something like email address at the end which can be done by mapping the email address via button
Something like this : This email was sent to Deepthi.Gajjala@abc.com because there is an account associated with this address. If you don't want to receive email, you can opt out of receiving future emails by clicking unsubscribe
Let me know the possible options.
Yes, looking for that.
Yes, this would be very helpful.
Any updates on this? My ideal scenario would be to have a “content block” library available in the email template builder where we could literally slot in pre-configured header and footer blocks that contained our “on-brand” stylized headers and footers.
The use case I’m currently dealing with has the following issues:
- Gainsight CS cannot “host” images similar to Hubspot/Marketo for use in our emails – rather, images added to emails are embedded in the email template
- As a result, our images for email headers and footers (logos) were uploaded in Hubspot to allow for easier logo updates if marketing made changes to the logos – could just have them upload a revised image with the same file name in the same folder, and no broken images
- Our marketing team is switching from Hubspot to a new hosting provider, which means that all of our header/footer images in recurring, scheduled programs with current templates have to be updated and we had to figure out a new way of hosting those images (moved a public S3 bucket)
What would be fantastic would be if there was something similar to this feature that Stripo offers – synchronized modules. No need to waste time updating every single active template if there’s a brand redesign – just update the modules to implement the change, and it’s reflected downstream across all templates that include the updated module.
