Dark, Night Mode

No this hasn’t made it onto the roadmap yet. I recognise it’s a popular idea but our Product team has decided to prioritise other elements of the front end in order to modernise the user experience, including a notification centre, multi-language capabilities, user-based personalisation of widgets (to name just a few!).

Just chiming in to say we would love to see this included in the roadmap as a lot of our users really want this.

​@Jen Hanley - When we moved to Gainsight this spring from another platform, one of the top things our customers hoped to see in the new space was dark mode. Needless to say, they were disappointed. I feel you.

Unfortunately no news to share on this request still. Our Product team has been prioritising other front end improvements e.g. threaded replies.

To keep this alive. Our users keep being very interested in a dark mode. One of them even made this mock up.

We've had one of our developers take a look and work on a custom css solution. But that turned out to be too complicated to properly construct and keep functional what with never quite knowing in advance if Gainsight is going to change something.

We do have dark mode on our radar, and it's something we're genuinely considering for the future. That said, I want to be transparent: it's not something we'll be working on this year. We'll be focused on other UI/UX improvements, including the topic feeds, create topic flow, and sign-in/sign-up experience..

We're going to park this idea for now, but we'll keep the votes and feedback here as a signal when we revisit our longer-term planning.
