Default Cockpit Sections(Overdue and Upcoming) to Collapsed

I have a customer that wants to make it so by default all the sections in their cockpit are collapsed. So basically when you login you only see Overdue, Next 7 days and upcoming and then you can expand each section from there.





I would like to start a discussion on this to see if others would like this option as well as get some input from the product team.

Really like this idea! We have recently moved to Success Plans and have the dates for future EBRs built in, so our teams are complaining about their cockpits being overwhelming. Would be great to "hide" that with the automatic collapse.
I know this is a 2yo post, but I am voting anyway and hope this will be considered!  Our CSMs are complaining about how overwhelming the cockpit is too, and this will help.
Hi Sarah, have you taken a look at the custom filters in cockpit? They let any user create and save multiple custom views to filter out CTAs they don't want to see. This allows CSMs to quickly focus on just a prioritized list of CTAs without getting overwhelmed.

Yes, we are using filters, but I think there is still a need to have the page load collapsed first so that they can see the groupings and totals per grouping before expanding the grouping they want to work with. 





In our case, the grouping is typically the name of another person on the account team, and the CSM user is tackling all CTAs related to that person for efficiency.  User Story: "I want to look at all issues where Sarah Johnson is the assigned Implementation Manager because I may pull her in for several of them and want to do that in one email/call for efficiency because Sarah is so busy and can be hard to reach." 





However, since there are over a hundred of these Implementation Managers, and I can't administratively create global list views like I can in Salesforce, each CSM would have to create over a hundred custom filters individually to only show the CTAs for each Implementation Manager we have on staff. 





That feels impractical, so instead we've been doing some basic filtering (by CTA type, status, etc. where it makes sense in the workflow), then grouping the CTAs by Implementation Manager, and when over a hundred groupings load on the page, it's hard to quickly find the group you want to start working with, so the CSMs are manually collapsing them all one at a time before they begin or just until they find the Implementation Manager they want.  (And then they rarely refresh the Cockpit so they don't have to do this again because their choice to collapse the groupings isn't "sticky" across page refreshes like some other UI things are in Gainsight.)





I hope my description makes sense.  Perhaps I could submit a different Idea for the ability to create global list views!

We are thinking of adding a Collapse & Expand icon at Group level like we have for Task Count, which will do the trick,








Note: We will definitely think of making it Sticky.
