I decided to rebuild an existing program in Dynamic JO, and looks like that’s not going to be possible because it has an inline survey question, and it looks terrible in the email.

Please fix this.

I hit this too a couple months back during my first attempt to use dynamic JO. After seeing this, and the inability to customize, I had to go back to Advanced JO. This inline survey question formatting in dynamic is no professional and not something we want to show customers.

All of our surveys use inline questions. This issue will keep us from using Dynamic JO.

In addition, the preview of the inline survey question does not match how it actually renders in the email - another frustrating experience.

Another upvote for this please! Our operations team was not super happy when they saw the limited options for customizing the in-line questions, especially the answer colors which does not match our branding at all.

Also, I have found its impossible to match whatever font is used in the inline question. It should really use the font of the template.

100%. The only time I’ve touched surveys in over 3.5 years using Gainsight was to learn them for (and use them in) the Level 2 certification exam.

We use Typeform, but we also don’t use inline survey questions. Template formatting controls, whether for surveys or email templates, need so much work. Ex: this semi-related idea about being able to control the default link color in our email templates.

Our team (@kstim, @kim_stone for voting awareness) is looking at using Gainsight surveys internally, since the branding standardization there isn’t as big of a deal, but it still doesn’t look good if we’re surveying leadership. But sending Gainsight surveys EXTERNALLY is a nonstarter if they’re not on-brand.

Partial submits would be a gamechanger for sending customer surveys, but we can’t use it unless we can control the styles more to keep them in line with the rest of our emails. Please consider adding this to your roadmap!
