Failure notifications on Real Time rules

Has this really been “Under Discovery” for two years?

Notifications where we work is key.

​@rakesh I just experienced a situation where a Real Time rule had been running “partially successful” for over a month, and I was completely unaware.

With respect, this is not something that can continue to go unaddressed - anything that involves automation requires failure notification. 

 

This is a massive pain point for us as well. Relying on manual reminders to check daily execution logs just isn't scalable. Even when we do audit them, having to click into every single rule to expand its execution history is incredibly cumbersome and a major drain on time. Furthermore, RTRs are completely excluded from Analyzer.

The feature is at least 5 years old, it's highly frustrating that a foundational capability like failure notifications is still missing. This needs to be prioritized.

Considering the recent investment in all things MCP and AI, this feels like an easy admin QOL win. Surely there’s a system already in place that could be leveraged to surface admin alerts from across our Gainsight instance? Some ideas:

1. Gainsight Copilot (for admins)
2. MCP (admins can set up recurring reviews for failures)
3. Slack AI Agent
