Currently there is a connector for CC and Gainsight CS within CS but it is only 1 direction (CC → CS)

We need a way of updating Community using CS, either via External Actions (and therefore we need to be able to authorize API connection via a Connector Job) or just by having OOB integration that adds Community related actions to rules engine.

Our current use cases;

  • Assign Credly badges to user
  • Assign roles/permisions to user

Both these products are owned by Gainsight so there should be an easy way to send data bi-directionally between them….

💯!!!
Since both products are part of the Gainsight ecosystem, there absolutely should be an easy, native way to send data bidirectionally between them. It feels like a foundational missing piece.

Totally agree! This feels like core functionality that should already exist. A few use cases we’d benefit from: triggering automated welcome posts or DMs when a user becomes a customer or reaches a certain milestone in CS, and revoking roles in Community when a user churns. Without bidirectional sync, we’re left with patchy workarounds. Having native support would unlock a ton of value across the lifecycle.

We also want to be able to revoke access when a user leaves a customer or when the customer churns. Right now, it’s a manual process. Bleh.

Good news 🎉 This idea is now in development.
The team is actively working on it, and we’ll share updates here as we get closer to release. Thanks for helping shape the product.
Initial release of this feature is anticipated to be in April 2026, with more in store in the following months!
