The “Associate CTAs” feature is nice, but lets make it easier for users to identify which CTAs to associate by allowing admins the ability to customize the selection screen.

Right now, it only consists of “CTA Name, Due Date, Owner, Type and Status.  But giving admins the ability to customize these columns for specific fields (both standard and/or custom, i..e Reason or Objective Category, Product or Feature, etc) that matter to their business would help make it easier for users to identify what CTAs to link.

Started out this was gonna be focused on Goals, but applies to anywhere you can “Associate CTAs”

This is even more critical because, at least in the case of associating a CTA to a Success Plan, once you do it, you can’t undo it. To remove it you’d need to delete the CTA. CSMs need as much information they can have to make an informed selection that they cannot undo.

Cripes I didn’t even know that.  MAJOR feature gap.

Agree this would be a good enhancement for our teams as well.  In situations where you have customers that have been with you for a while, there could be a LOT of CTAs, so having the ability to customize the view to show key data points would be a great way for them to hone in on the CTA they are looking for as quickly as possible.

@darkknight we just started using this Associate CTAs feature - I noticed a couple of things and wondering if others are seeing similar.  1) only CTA’s that are “Work In Progress” show up in the search list - New status seems to be omitted for us 2) When you associate a CTA to the timeline entry, the visual indicator that it is associated to a CTA never seems to show in the Timeline Activities list (as it does with Activities that were created from within a CTA).  Curious if anyone are seeing similar things?

@waynedilworth we aren’t using goals. it was deemed too much overhead.

Thanks @darkknight - I didn’t even realize your original post was about Goals - we use those too - I was thinking you were referring to Associate CTAs option in TImeline Activities - my bad.

We are using associate CTAs in both cases - so the ability to customize this list is helpful too.

@waynedilworth does this answer your question about timeline entries showing up? I’m not sure if it’s the same context as your question.

It helps - but as you stated- it doesn’t look like they moved the feature at all here. I will move my thoughts over to that thread.  Thank you!
