As of now If there are more than 33000 characters then Email to Timeline will fail, Is there any plan of increasing the limit if not can we use truncate option here where the Notes till 33,000 characters are updated its truncated after that. Many users have reported that they are unable to use this due to this error.
This is an issue for my company as well. If increasing the max character count isn’t possible, I’d rather see emails truncated than failing to load entirely

+2Looks like development has started on this enhancement request, which is fantastic. I think one of the problems I’m having with this too is that there is no good error message when the limits are exceeded. It just doesn’t work, you get s generic error, or even sometimes gets stuck in a state of perpetual loading.
This is something else I would add to this request - give us some more meaningful feedback in the form of an error message when something fails for a specific reason. For example:
If you ever had a profile with us, there's no need to create another one.
