We're seeing an increase in AI generated content across our community. Some of those posts are factually correct, but often they're kind of 'misplaced’ without being 100% off topic.

I'd love to be able to give our users the ability to instantly recognise those posts. Often it's not only topics, but also replies to questions and in conversations.

At the moment we can only label articles, events, ideas, product updates etc, and only the first post.
I'd love to be able to add a label to individual replies as well.

Being able to instantly recognise an AI generated topic/reply gives more value to human generated content that has taken time and effort to create.

In time it would be amazing to enable users to actively include or exclude AI generated content based on that label.

Thoughts? :)

Hi @Ditte - thanks for sharing this idea, if I understand correctly, a workaround for now is to label topics, but its not enough, you would like to be able to label Replies and all posts as well? Which user would do this for your community (user role)? Thanks!

@Ditte just voted! Would you be open to sharing your team’s approach to what you’re seeing in the community? Anything from how you are catching the posts and flagging them.

Hey @security_lion sure thing! Always happy to help :)

We’ve already taken the first step, but updating our T&C with the following blurb (approved by our legal team):

Posts written by AI or other software used to generate content must be marked as such. AI-generated posts not marked as such will be removed without warning or explanation.”

With that said, some AI generated content is not completely out of whack, even if slightly “odd”, in which case we add a note to the post, like here: https://en.community.sonos.com/speakers-229128/sonos-one-losing-sound-and-unresponsive-when-using-music-services-over-wi-fi-6887524?postid=16691996#post16691996

Hope this helps :)

You got my vote @Ditte.

Gainsight, have you spoken about this? 😀
