Multi-Level Data Sorting

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding multi-level data sorting. We understand that this is a highly requested feature and we appreciate your interest in our product. We want to assure you that this feature is definitely part of our roadmap for the upcoming fiscal year. 

We would like to highlight that we are also working on a few other initiatives that are also highly requested by the community like Inline Editing in reports and on our Platformization initiative( and have often requested items like “Allowing bucketing in reports “ & “Reporting on multi select pick list” in our roadmap) and believe these initiatives will bring significant value to many of our customers.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we'll keep you updated on any progress.

Hello All,

While this feature remains on our long-term roadmap, it is not scheduled for development in Q3. We are currently evaluating its potential inclusion in our Q4 plans, though this is not yet confirmed.

We understand this may not be the update you were hoping for, but we remain committed to transparency in our development process. We'll provide further updates as our plans evolve.

​@Prateek Parashar - I just got an escalation on this from our user base. I was suggested to add an idea on Community. This is the idea and it has been out here for quite some time. Any better idea on timing?

It seems like this request has had a tough time staying near the top of the development priority list, despite an acknowledgement of the high value customers are placing on the feature. I applaud you for having some degree of transparency over time, but beyond that this is not a good look for Gainsight gang. 

I, like many other customers, still want and could really use this feature. Please let us know when you expect to be able to commit to a timeline in a more concrete way and perhaps provide a few details as to why this has struggled to make it to a development cycle so far, since it seems like it's not for lack of understanding of the value or the degree of demand for the requested feature.

Quick update—we’ve started working on the designs for this feature. In the next few weeks, I’ll have a clearer view on whether a Q4 release is possible.

It is one of our top priorities currently, but I don’t have a confirmed timeline to share just yet. I’ll keep you in the loop as things progress.
