User options to control what opens in a new tab

We just rolled out Gainsight last week and the top question I’m getting is “how do I stop things from opening in a new tab?”

 

I know there’s mixed opinions from the community on whether people want a new tab or not - I would love to see individual users have this level of control since there is no standard opinion.

        We just implemented Gainsight CS in my org and this was one of the first pieces of feedback I received from my CSMs.  Their browsers are already made up of many tabs and when they’re clicking around beginning their day - because Gainsight opens a new tab for every account - it’s not uncommon for them to now have 10+ tabs they have to then close. 

         

        Looks like this has been in Planned for the lsat 2 years, hoping this is just around the corner as a nice quality of life improvement! 🙏🏻
