When I am in a category and ready to post a topic, the category editor by default should already have the current category listed, instead of just having it blank.

Great work, thanks for keeping this in mind.
Hello @Scott Baldwin this is an expected behavior. This is simply because it not possible to create a topic in the KB from destination. Only articles can be published in the KB and therefor they can only be created from Control.
