Hi Evan,

Sorry I couldn't make it last time!

I'm looking for a way to take a snapshot / log metrics like ARR/Health so that we can see them trend over time or as a yearly comparison. Is there a way to do this with the MDA?

Thank you!
Hi Evan, i registered for the session this thursday 05/03, however i don't see a thread to post questions for this week, so posting them on the thursday may 8th board. I'm trying to configure activity types in the timeline, that have a subtype within. For example "Log an email" is a selection in the + activities field, and then when the end user goes in, they have an additional picklist of subtype of which they can choose one of the following "business partnership, performance coaching, issue management, etc.) I've followed the instructions here on how to create a custom "dropdown": https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Customers_and_Relationships/Admin_Configuration/...

however the instructions don't provide any further detail on how then to create the picklist within this drop down. below is a screenshot. you can see i have "subtype" but when i click into this field it only says "select" and there are no choices. Where do i configure the pick lists here? am i missing the final step?

Thanks!

Shiela

Hi Shiela, if you bring up the 'Data Management' section, click on 'dropdown lists' from the left navigation menu. From there you can add a category for your subtype. Then, click on your new subtype category name, and then add in the drop down choices you'd like displayed (click on "+ Item"). Once you're all done, go back to your Timeline activity and place the new subtype category you just created into your Timeline Activity.

Hope that helps!
