Hoping you could help me with the issues below:
  • Sync issues - do we need to sync all data each day, if so how? or should the nightly sync bring in the new records AND update any records changed in SF since the last sync, as that doesn't seem to be occurring
  • In Data Management how can we change the Company Person - (Contact) "persona" field (PL Cohort Enrolment) to a multi select dropdown field as it is now a multi select picklist in SF
  • Is there a way we can have drop down values with apostrophes as that is how they are written up in SF - otherwise we may need to change API names in SF which could be troublesome in other places.

I’m using data designer so that we can report on the # of contacts by account that our CSM met in the last 90 days and the products they use against their book of business.

 

  • I’m using activity attendee object to get the list of contacts that the CSM met in last 90 days
  • I’m using Person field to get the product list (custom multiselect field)
  • Merging the above based on contact id to get the list of account, csm name and the product list
  • Another data set to get the book of business for CSM
  • Here is where I’m lost as to how to report. ideally we would like a global filter based on the CSM name, so that we can see all the customers on their total account, with all the products they subscribe to along with # of tagged contacts for their account using the stacked bar.

I have some general questions that I am hoping that you can help me with

  • When setting up a new task in rules engine I can see in this article the types of action that I can create. However, they are not all available to me. Does it depend on the dataset that I choose which activities I can create?
  • I added a new custom filed to the Salesforce, but when I fetch the records, I cannot see that field in the dataset. What do I need to do to get it into Gainsight as well?
  • I am trying to create a program for 90-60-30 email notification to customers who’s contract will expire. When I run the source rule, I get two passes, but the records end up in failed participants. What do I need to change to make sure these participants get the notification?
