HI Scott, I was hoping to get some general tips and tricks on managing files I’m dropping to the S3 Bucket.  You may or may not be able to help with some of my questions so any tips/tricks you have are helpful.  Situation: I tried uploading an NPS Survey Responses file on Friday 1/10 to be used for a Power BI I was building that day and it was never showing so I kept trying to Export to S3.  Today the files are finally there but the export date didn’t start till I tried again on Monday and now it’s uploading a new file every day.  I want to make a change to how it’s posting to be without the date as part of the name for refresh purposes in Power BI. I’m also curious if you know what could have caused the delay in the files appearing in my Cyberduck not until the next business day (is this in the Rules Engine?) or how I can see that file a little more quickly, if that’s even possible and any other S3 file management tips you would recommend.

Hi Scott. I’m needing help with a new rule I’m working on. I need to operate on Date fields using Case fields, but Case does not support the Date data type so I’m having to do Date > String > Date conversions.

In the same rule, I’m also needing to compare dates and am being forced to handle NULL values by converting to a string “(null)” for the comparison, then back to Date for actually using the value.

Was hoping maybe there are approaches that eliminate or mitigate the need for these transformations?

Help with Gainsight Ticket 352907 - Global Filters within Gainsight Home.  

 

Gainsight Home – Global Filters for Account Owners – Current User

Within Gainsight Home, created Global Filters to capture Account Owner fields and have Accounts associated with each of the different Account Owner fields
• CSM
• Channel Partner Account Owner
• Health Plan Account Owner
• Trading Partner Account Owner
• Technical Account Manager

Goal: be able to have the Operator logic be Equal to “Current User” for all of the Account Owner fields and to have my Accounts associated to any of the fields be displayed. Staff should not have to change the Global Filter for the Account Owner fields when Current User is the Default within filters.

• If any of the Accounts have my name within the CSM, Channel Partner, Health Plan, Trading Partner or Technical Account Manager field, All of the Accounts should display.
• What is happening is None of the Accounts display unless I “Clear” each of the Account Owner Filters and then only choose 1 of the Account Owner
• The Filter should look at each Field individually and perform/capture the corresponding accounts.
• Can what I am wanting to do be accomplished since the Account Owner fields are separate fields within the Company Object?

Advanced Logic I have tried:
• (A AND B AND C AND D AND E AND F AND G AND H AND I AND J)
• (A OR B OR C OR D OR E OR F OR G OR H OR I OR J)

Hi Scott, I have a question about JO Programs. We have a Program that is currently running and need to make an update to it. How do we do that so that the current Audience (a Segment) remains in the Program?

The program sends out emails, evaluates a calculated field for 45 days, and, based on the value in the calculated field, either creates a CTA or sends out a second email.

We need to update the Evaluate Element to include a third path
