Hello all!   First, my apologies for not putting the post through last week about cancelled Admin Office Hours -- was out of the country and thought I’d queued up that notice but obviously did not.

I am, however, back, and we’ll be on our regular schedule going forward for the foreseeable future.

Hello Scott, here are my questions for today:

Surveys:

  1. How do you best decide how to organize your survey sites, and whether to use an existing one or create a new one? By department? Other criteria?
  2. What are the pros and cons of associating survey recipients with a Gainsight company (company & contact exists in GS) vs. not (company & contact do not exist in GS)?
  3. I created a test survey with trackable links, sent it to myself, clicked on multiple links in the email. Where do I find the tracking info? I can see how to get to the “Last Email Link Clicked” by recipient, but not ALL the links that were clicked (there are 3 links and I clicked 2 of them).

Account Scorecard History:

  1. Can we review the logic of how to query the Account Scorecard History object to determine when an account changes health from one value to another?

Welcome back from vacation! I have a Data Designer report linking SFDC Case data with 2 internal MDA objects (Company and a Flattened survey). I’m interested in knowing how to best keep a lookup to the case in SFDC once the final reports are built? 


One more question: how to correctly link a Timeline entry back to its corresponding Success Plan. I have a live rule that I can show how I’m currently linking but I’m not sure it’s correct.


Additional question: When displaying currency field in a report, is there any work-around to show “$” instead of “USD”?

Hi Scott,

I’d like to try to figure out a solution to capture the Last Engagement Date of a contact. In People Maps, there is a section called Last Engagement Date is on X, but there is no field available here. I understand that this is based off of when someone enters this contact as an External Attendee. But upon trying to merge this information, the issue I’m running into is if there are multiple attendees-- the External Attendee field then does not yield an exact match to the contact Full Name.

Hi Scott, is there a way to format the way a Date field looks in a report? For example, “YYYY-MON-DD” vs. “DD/MM/YYYY”. I’m not finding anything in the community or google on this.
