We use a company hierarchy structure in Gainsight to manage our accounts because renewals/assignments/cta/etc can be managed by individual country or at the regional level. The issue we are running into is keeping clean, accurate contact data.

We have contacts that are assigned to multiple accounts which are really just different countries. Example: Mike is the Head of Ecom for NA at Google. This means he works on US, CA, & MX. Here is how we have Google built in Gainsight

Google - Global

-Google - APAC

-Google - EMEA

-Google - NA

--Google - NA - US

--Google - NA - CA

--Google - NA - MX

Because contact data is managed at the Company Person level, we have lots of the same contacts across multiple accounts. From the example above, Mike would be a contact on 3 different accounts, even though he only has 1 role at Google. Our accounts teams are not updating the Mike at at each country. They are just updating his contact info on one country. This is leading to a mess of contact data.

I would love to find out if there is a way to manage contact data at the Person level, reflect it on the Company Person level, and make it editable on the Company Person level. We understand this isn’t the way Gainsight is built, but we are desperate for a work around.

From a Horizon Rule, I need to delete Objective CTAs that meet a specific criteria. Setting the criteria is done, I can’t figure out how to delete the CTA/Objective.

If it’s not possible to delete a CTA using rules, how to do I update the CTA status? Horizon rules is not presenting me a CTA action in the dropdown menu.

I have a question about linked object in a Success Plan workflow. Best if I show you.
Thanks!

Hey Scott, a customer of mine cannot join today, so i am posting this for them and I will join to see if we get to it.

I’m attempting to create a report of Tasks created from an Activity Timeline entry where our CEO was present in the meeting.

I can identify Activities where the CEO was present (Activity Attendee Object), and I can identify tasks that were created from a timeline entry (CS Task). What I'm not able to find is a field or ID that will allow me to associate a task with the timeline entry.

When I go to a timeline entry I can see the tasks present so there is some way those are being associated, its just not clear to me which fields I need to use to link the two in a Data Designer entry.

How do I stitch these two objects together?
