Hi Scott,

I have 2 questions that I think will be pretty quick.

  1. I have my SFDC admin hat on and am wondering how I might do something in GS that I can do in SFDC. I want GS to send me an email when a Boolean field is set to True on a custom MDA.  It doesn't need to be real time. I have tried using JO. I can fetch the necessary records from the MDA, but I have no way to merge that data with the user record when attempting to build the participant list. I do not own the record. I did not create it. I have not modified it. There is nothing that connects my user record to the MDA record. Is there any way to accomplish this email alert in GS?  
  2. How do I run a report that shows how many times a Template has been sent out using the GS Assist Outlook plugin?  When I run an Email Log V2 report to capture this data, the only source I see for a certain set of templates is GSASSIST_COCKPIT and the count of sends does not match what I know about these templates.  I know these particular templates are being used in the Outlook plugin quite often.

I have one question related to the feature that was release last weekend Log Automated Emails from Journey Orchestrator as Timeline Activities, what is best way to go about configuring this on existing programs. 

Also I have one regarding Preview New 360 option. One user is not able to see the preview option, when I log in as the user I am able to see it, I also have checked the user’s settings and configurations and all it is in line, other users with similar access do not have this problem. We did tried different browsers, incognito, the same results.

Hi Scott,

Looking into multiple link tracking in JO: We want to be able to send clients on different paths depending on what links they have and have not clicked in an email that has multiple links

  • If we use event-based conditional waits for Has Link Clicked or Has Not Link Clicked, can we include if clicked on links 2 & 3 in an email but not link 1 & 4, sending them on a path?
    • We are trying to avoid sending them down too many paths if they clicked (or didn’t click) on multiple emails in a journey.

Hey Scott - Is there a way to limit what field options show up in a linkable object?
