In Gainsight Reports, I am exploring bucketing categories

ange. I would like to group by ranges of employees (1-50 employees, 51-100 employees, 101-150 employees, etc). I can only find how to group by employees and it just does by each employee headcount... 1, 2, 3, ,4.

If you wanted to look at an example, I have granted SFDC access to https://bamboohr.lightning.force.com/lightning/n/Gainsight_Reports (Success | Last Login Date)

Demo of how end users map the global filters when customizing Gainsight Home, particularly if the source does not use Company.

Hi Scott,

A user is trying to share a dashboard and receives this error gslink.rocketsoftware.com’ s server IP address could not be found, any suggestions on why is that happening?

I also have couple of NPS Survey related questions.

HI! Quick question  on Journey Orchestrator and Cockpit if we have time.

The rule where I load line items from cyberduck into gainsight always has 1 record that fails. I have made a copy of this rule which is filtered to only have this one record. What is happening is the account ID, Relationship Name and Relationship Id are showing up blank after going through pivots and merges. The rule has 10 tasks:

  1. Fetch products from S3
  2. Fetch Relationships
  3. Merge Relationships,
  4. Pivot on Product Name
  5.  Pivot on Version,
  6. Pivot on Reporting Family for Brand
  7.  Merge Pivot on Product Name and Pivot on Reporting Family for Brand
  8. Merge Pivot on Version and the last merge described
  9. Transform Counters
  10. Create Flags for QSO Brand PE.

After the Merge between Pivot on Product Name and Pivot on Reporting Family for Brand, the account ID, relationship Name and Relationship ID show up blank. I have tried changing the different merge types (such as retain common records, retain all records, left or right) but still keep getting the same problem. I am wondering if you have advice on how to stop this record from failing.

Hi Scott,

I have a meeting so I won’t be able to be on the call but I hope you can assist me with this question.

My company implemented Gainsight in January, I took over the instance in March. They did not set up any success plans, and we want to run QBR’s for the higher revenue accounts. To my understanding, without a success plan the success snapshot is basically worthless correct? Do you have any tips/advice on creating a successful QBR in this scenario? Thanks!

Hello @angela_domenichelli  -- was able to quickly test to confirm that no, Reports added to the C360 are not available to end users wanting to add to their dashboards.

I’m going to check with the Product team to see if that’s on their radar, but even if it is I know that we would have to make it an “all or nothing” setting, since C360 layout can be driven by both Customer and User attributes -- basically, we would have to show all reports on any C360 layout, vs. a user waiting while the back end reviews which C360s are available for any customer record to that particular user to find “permissioned” reports  . . .

Separately, I’ll call out the fact that “withdrawing permission” to a report does not remove it from a personalized Home -- that’s probably on their radar already, but I’ll let you know!

Scott
