  1. I need assistance creating a URL in Gainsight that links to our Salesforce instance. 
  • Because our company is in a code freeze, we cannot create a URL field in Salesforce. All work must be done in Gainsight. 
  • Specifically:
    • Object: Hospitality Service Cloud
    • URLs needed for: Work Order & Case

 

  1. Similarly, we have an “Open Duration” field on the Hospitality Service Cloud object.
  • Currently, I created a formula field for the Duration(days) between when a case was opened and when a case is closed. (IF CLOSED > Duration Days = Close Date-Open Date)
  • Business wants the Open Duration field to show when the case HAS NOT YET been closed. (IF NOT CLOSED > Duration Days = Today - Open Date)
    • Therefore, there shouldn’t be any null values for this field.
  • Report 1: Hospitality Service Cloud Case Table
    • Field 1: Case Open Duration
  • Report 2: Hospitality Service Cloud WorkOrder Table
    • Field 2: Work Order Open Duration

 

  1. Lastly, I need assistance with using Data Designer to create a connection between Dispute object and Open Receivables object
  • Include:
    • OR: ALL
    • Dispute: Dispute Number, dispute amt local, dispute amt usd
  • Join using Invoice Number
