This Product Update check box under the Launch option.

Engagements > {Editing an Engagement } > Launch

Hi Danny. The Product Update classification corresponds to the User Preferences category ‘productUpdate’. It functions simply to create a discrete category of engagements that can be opted in/out with that user pref. Often the ‘productUpdate’ category is used like an operational communications category.

So if a guide engagement is not configured as a Product Update, it would follow the ‘guidedTours’ pref, but if configured as a Product Update, it would follow the ‘productUpdate’ category preference.

For users where both users prefs are enabled, there won’t be any change in their experience.
