How To Create a Product Update

Want to inform your community about new features or improvements in the product? Did you recently fixed a number of bugs? Want to inform your customers about an upcoming and exciting release Meet Product updates.

With product updates, you can bridge the transparency gap between you and your customers around the product and functionalities that you offer.

 

How To Create a Product Update

  1. Go to Control Create  New Product Update
  2. Add a title
  3. Write your product update
  4. Publish your Product Update immediately, or save it as a draft to come back to it later.

The following settings are optional to configure

  • Add Product area
  • Allow replies (default: Yes)
  • Add a Label (open text field) - a label will appear next to the Product Update title
  • Featured image 
  • Related products
  • Public tags

Is it possible edit the color of one product update label? Or all labels are in the same color?

Hey @Gabriel Fernando it would really be cool to be able to do so, but currently not possible (only default colour). 

Btw, to maintain the unique set of frequently used lables for a Community is also much needed. Pl Vote up Nick’s idea and add your own comment to be able to colour code labels, just like Idea status labels too
