Your community doesn’t stop at language borders, and now your conversations don’t have to either.

AI Translations is officially out of beta and now available as an add-on for all Gainsight Communities. Members can instantly translate community topics and replies into their preferred language, creating a more inclusive, globally connected experience.

Here’s What’s New:

  • On-demand translations of topics and replies, powered by AI
  • Fully self-serve for members, no extra lift for your community team
  • Custom language selection in your admin settings
  • Exclude specific keywords from translations like brand and product names
Members can choose their preferred language from the dropdown menu on topics and replies

Add-On: If AI Translations has not been added to your community yet, reach out to your Gainsight Account Manager for pricing and additional information.

Set Up in Minutes

Been loving this enhancement. Absolutley massive for global companies like ours. By the way, I clearly haven’t updated my profile here for some time -- I now lead the Community at Cornerstone (not data.ai).

Thanks for letting me part of the beta!

Hey @Rebecca Potter in one of the screenshots I see Arabic as an option, but this isn't among the choices in our portal :-) When will Arabic be an option?

@jvdc Sorry for the delayed response. We don’t support Arabic for global languages, what that means is we don’t support platform’s interface translations to Arabic.

For AI translations of topics and replies, you can enable Arabic and other RTL scripts but please keep it in mind that the translations will still be aligned LTR in the UI.

Hey @Sudhanshu , okay, but how do I add then Arabic in the AI translation options?

Hey @Sudhanshu never mind, I managed, Arabic wasn't available in the option from the menu but I could add it by writing it down.

If you have AI translations enabled, visit Control : Settings > Languages > AI translations > Type-out a language and hit Save.

This article should help you add a language for AI translations:

Of the customers that are using this, what are your experiences now? What can you translate in a community? Only the forun/community part or also things like product updates?

I am considering this as our community is also growing and expanding globally and I am considering if our current set up (1 community 2 languages) is still the way to go as we are considering a 3rd langauge already….
