We’ve made a small but mighty improvement to how you manage Ideation Statuses.
With this update, community admins can now map ideation statuses to reporting types directly from the Ideation Status page in Settings.
Previously, this could only be done through the Product Feedback Dashboard; now it’s available right where you already manage statuses, so it’s easier to access and use.
Here’s what’s new:
Manage Mappings in Settings:
You can now edit and manage mappings directly within the Ideation Status page. This centralized view makes it easier to track, categorize, and maintain consistency across all your ideas.
Mandatory Mapping for New Statuses:
Any new ideation status added to the community must be mapped to one of the predefined categories—Open, Delivered, or Closed—at the time it’s created. This ensures everything stays aligned from day one.
