Hi Y’all,

 

I am exploring the use of a KC Bot. I have a couple of questions.

1) I would like to modify how the community content is shown. How do I remove the ideation section. We are not using that Module.

2) Why does the KC Both pick up the production community content when I am building it in our Sandbox.

 

When I open the bot in the community I see all the latest content from the live Production community. Where is the source of community content defined?

You can modify the product areas that are fetched into a bot from the Gainsight Customer Communities section in the Search tab. Here’s some detailed documentation on that. 

To your second point, which environment the community data is fetched from depends on how the CC Integration was set up. While configuring, you may provide the Community Domain, API Base URL and other information for the sandbox community, to fetch data only from sandbox. You can find detailed documentation here.

OK, Now I understand it. The integration from PX - CC can only be to one community. In my case it is the production community. So the content shown is from the CC integration.
